In reading last week’s essay by Susan Siegel (“Don’t Be Fooled About the Soundview Property”), I realized that she once again is against any progress in the town. If she took the time to see all the benefits to the town besides tax revenue and all the residents who would enjoy the benefits, she might finally approve of something.
Her administration was filled with promises and not accomplishments. She seems, in my opinion, to stand in the way of progress, trying to keep Yorktown in the 1960s. People have moved here and want to stay but know things need to change to make us more desirable. I might be wrong, but she was part of the master plan that instituted overlay zones. I would be shocked if she ever had something positive to say about progress.
